I recommend doing everything you plan on doing in May now. Why? Well on April 29th the 15-35 demographic of males in North America will be otherwise occupied. They will be late to work, missing dates, forgetting about sports, and most importantly running up electricity bills. You see that is the day GTA comes out. If you don’t know what GTA stands for, consider yourself out of the “know.” I personally am debating even getting the game. I know that sounds odd but I love the spring and beginning of summer. I like playing golf and being outside. But I know i will get sucked into the other world. Just look at how beautiful it is:

OTTAWA — The dark cloud that has hovered over the Ottawa Senators since mid-season continues to bring the team down with Jason Spezza possibly the latest casualty.
The star centre missed practice Sunday, still feeling the effects of a leg injury sustained Friday night. It’s not clear whether he’ll suit up for Game 3 against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday (CBC, 7 p.m. ET) with his team in dire need of a season-saving victory.
“We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out,” Senators head coach Bryan Murray said Sunday after practice. “He couldn’t skate today, he felt, so we’ll just have to wait and see.”
Spezza did not speak to the media Sunday. The previous day, when he also didn’t skate in an optional practice, he told reporters he thought he would probably be back for Game 3. Already without star captain Daniel Alfredsson as well as centres Mike Fisher and Chris Kelly, Ottawa can ill-afford yet another crippling injury after losing the opening two games of their best-of-seven, Eastern Conference quarter-final series.

So will it be Patrick Kane, Nicholas Backstrom, Carey Price, or Jonathan Toewes for Rookie of the Year in the NHL in 2008? My vote is for Kane. He leads the league in rookie scoring. He didn’t have as solid a team around him all year as Backstrom did. I think Ovechkin wins the Hart as MVP and because of that Nicholas Backstrom shouldn’t win the Calder. Carey Price was solid but I don’t think he played enough games to be considered the best rookie out there. Likewise Jonathan Toewes’ season was cut short by injuries or his numbers would have been up there too. We will see when the season ends how the writers judge them all.

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 26 shots for his first career playoff shutout and Evgeni Malkin scored his first career playoff goal as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Ottawa Senators 4-0 in a game they controlled from beginning to end.
