Now Maple Leaf radio is throwing around a term called “Tanknation.” They want the team to loose the remaining games to get a better draft pick. How many players get drafted and never play for that team, if at all in the NHL? Lots. I know I have said they won’t make the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want them to!![]()
I say keep winning and try to make the playoffs. Look I’m a Dolphins fan as well. I have seen what happens when you loose for the sake of a draft pick. You cant try to be bad to get a better draft pick. Some great players in both hockey and football have been drafted in later rounds. Worry about finding a management team that will be more successful in the draft.
Being a fan means your support your team when they loose to Florida by 7 goals. And you stand up and cheer when they beat a division rival with 14 games left by a score of 8 to 2. You support them no matter what. I am pretty sure fan is short for fanatic. Personally I am a proud member of Leaf Nation not Tanknation!
